My Project

Along with their teachers, my students are planning an outdoor classroom.

Outdoor learning is a proven way to increase student interest, motivation, awareness of nature, and social skills.

To help expose my students to Nature STEM and Outdoor Learning, we are requesting resources to expand the scope of our school garden. The garden wagons, carts, and tools will help us reach and care for our garden beds. The hydroponics systems will allow us to grow indoors even during the winter months. The meal worms will allow us to learn about sustainability as we feed the worms from our left over fruits and veggies. The worms, in turn, will feed the fish in our aquaponics systems. Finally, we are raising butterflies to release into our garden where we'll have prepped a pollinator garden for them. Please consider supporting my students on this learning endeavor.
