It’s Ok to Not Be Ok

Help me give my students the book ‘Everything is Ok’. As the world keeps getting busier and harder, my students struggle with their mental health. This book can be a tool to help manage those emotions.

My Project

The majority of my students come from limited means. They do not have the guidance and support at home to be able to deal with difficult situations, therefore their emotional and mental states run wild. My kiddos have to deal with things no teenager should have to at their age, so by allowing my classes to have a class set of ‘Everything Is Ok’, can help them to find coping strategies for their wellbeing. They will also be able to relate with the character in the book. Since students are “forced” to read typical books in their English classes, this book is set up as a comic-book type of read, along with pictures for my visual learners. I know my students will enjoy this book in more ways than one!
