Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Chemistry is awesome! I currently teach a class of 6th graders a unit on Chemistry and interactions between chemicals. Sometimes it can be difficult to show these process through a text book or a video.
Kids love experiments that deliver excitement, hands-on materials, and smiles galore!
I love "Donors Choose," it gives me the opportunity to ask the community to support units that I teach, but don't always the tools to make it come to life. These kits that I am requesting address so many of the topics and standards that my students need to know before moving onto their next unit.
Having the right tools for the job make what I do for a living so much more exciting. I love seeing the look of amazement when we do investigation and experiments and the lightbulb goes off in my students head, because they know the reason "Why" that reaction took place in their experiment.
