Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
If I could, I would buy it all for my students. Sadly, I would be living on the sidewalk if I did that. However, you can help me give my students a better learning experience by providing a comfortable, engaged, and safe space all through the donation of a carpet. Ever heard the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words?" Well, in my classroom, a carpet is worth a thousand words. Students have the opportunity to connect with one another instead of sitting at their desk for 6 hours. It builds a wonderful classroom environment when we are able to sit with each other and have meaningful discussions about what we are learning.
