My Students

As a teacher in an inner city, public school district, our students are faced with more challenges than any student should ever experience before third grade, both inside and outside the classroom. Supporting today's students is an expensive burden to carry. To do so, I work extremely hard to provide my students with all of the classroom materials that they deserve. Doing this includes creating classroom materials as well as purchasing materials using money out of my own pocket! Although this can be extremely costly, my students are worth every penny (and more!)

My students are deserving, talented, and eager to learn!

They are hard working Montessori students growing in a hands-on, interactive, student-based environment.

The one thing that our classroom is always searching for is classroom materials. With help from Donor's Choose and your support, we are able to provide my twenty-five students with the best classroom possible!

My Project

Every student looks forward to the first day of school. These materials will help to create a beautiful, well-prepared environment that supports all 25 students and allows them to hit the ground running on day one!

These materials will set the atmosphere for an organized, prepared, and GREAT school year!

From printable labels to binders and even printer ink, each of these necessary materials will ensure that my students have the most organized and prepared classroom that I can possibly create. Students will use the binders throughout the year as a "work book," filled with daily and weekly activities targeted at their specific skill set. The ink and labels will ensure that each student knows where their materials are and where to store their belongings. These materials will also support both myself and my teaching partner as we work early to prepare for next school year by getting the essentials ready before summer begins! Cheers to 19-20!
