My students love to create! They love to draw, color, collage, sew, and paint. For many of my students, Art class is the only place they get to have these experiences, and they look forward to it each day. Their faces light up as they walk through the door, wondering what we are going to create today.
Every day I am amazed to see how students can take art projects a step further, making them their own.
They are proud of their work.
"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." (Pablo Picasso)
My Project
Accidents happen! Water spills, paint splashes, kids wipe glue off their hands onto their shirts. I've seen it all. The Art room can be a very messy place.
These aprons will help keep students' clothes clean as they are busy creating masterpieces.
I have always told my students just to remember to not wear their nicest, newest clothes to school on Art day. With these aprons, I won't have to see the scared look on their faces when they come in and have forgotten it's painting day.
These aprons would help students to not worry about what they are wearing, but instead, allow them to focus on the artwork they are creating.
