Help me give my students an easel to use for modeled lessons and student practice!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Wilson's classroom raised $290

My Students
My students are awesome! I teach at a Philadelphia Public School that qualifies for Title I funding. My entire class qualifies for free breakfast and lunch. Most of my students live in a single parent household and some of them are being cared for by a foster family or extended family members.
Despite the challenges my students face, they come each day with a great attitude.
Many of them have faced hardships that you would never want any child to ever experience. I provide a safe, nurturing environment where kids can learn and progress.
My Project
An easel that is not falling apart would be so wonderful in our classroom. Each time I use our current easel to model lessons, I worry that magnets won't stick, chart paper will fall, or parts of the easel will just fall to the floor. Don't laugh - it has happened. We need a reliable, stable easel. I can not use the easel for student practice or learning. I am just too afraid that someone will get injured.
A new easel that stands upright and has storage for materials would allow me to model lessons and students to practice lessons without the danger of injury or mishaps of material falling to the ground.
