My Project

My students all have special needs and come in excited to learn about everything, especially when they are engaged with hands on learning opportunities. The materials I'm requesting will provide fun experiences and time for exploration by reading the books, planting seeds, and caring for our growing plants. They will provide the opportunity to explore what the Earth has to offer, with perfect timing after completing our water cycle unit.

The books I am requesting will get us started by sparking their prior knowledge about plants and gardening.

The books will support them as they proceed through the gardening process. The students will demonstrate what they've learned through journaling.
