I currently have 46 unique fourth graders who are eager to learn every day in my math and science classes. My classroom is fully immersed in STEM learning and we do our best to ensure all students have access to various technologies and STEM materials that are not available to them anywhere else. While they are using these materials every day, they are moving throughout the classroom as part of our student-centered environment.
My fourth graders love to learn about anything, especially when it involves coding, making, and building!
They love to be actively engaged and it shows when they are using materials they love. This inquisitive group of kids continues to amaze me each and every day! They are native digital learners but do not have the equipment available in school to show off their skills.
Our students are currently running an indoor farming business. We plan on selling herbs and lettuce later this year, but the students decided that we need more items to sell to make money and to donate to charities and put back in our business. Since our business is an eco-friendly, sustainable business, the students have decided they want to sell reusable water bottles.
We are going to print, press, and sell stainless steel water bottles with Earth-friendly designs and expressions.
These water bottles will be printed on our sublimation printer. We need a mug press that will fit the Coke-shaped water bottles and the mug press is the perfect solution. These water bottles will not only promote our business, but promote a sustainable future by considering the environment in all aspects of daily life. Throughout this process, the students will not only teach others about caring for the environment, but also develop an entrepreneurial mindset with skills that will last their lifetime.
