it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project aims to provide my students with a warm and cozy classroom during the wintertime.
For over 5 years our school has been having trouble with its heating and cooling system.
When it's a warm day the heating system turns on and when it's snowing outside the AC turns on. This is a problem in the wintertime.
Our administration has provided each classroom with a personal space heater the size of a soccer ball. But it does not heat the entire classroom. Students struggle to stay engaged in classroom instruction when they are shivering and their teeth are chattering. Please help us so that the students are warm and cozy, and better able to learn.
