It's Cold Outside

Help me give my students hot chocolate on cold Minnesota below zero days.

My Students

The 7th grade students are a group of diverse individuals with a unique personality. The students come from a variety of racial, social-economic, and cultural backgrounds. My students are wonderful and they mean so much to me. They are in the special education classroom for Math and Language Arts.

I would like to provide them with the best learning environment I can.

My Project

We live in Minnesota and it is now winter with all the chilly weather we love. On cold below zero days I like to give students hot chocolate to warm up. I have a math class after students have been outside for recess. The hot chocolate helps to warm them up as they complete their math Do Now problems.

A cup of hot chocolate a small thing that makes a big different with the students especially on those subzero days.

The weather will remain cold for Jan, Feb, and maybe March. The hot chocolate will be used on cold days to warm and cheer us up.
