My students need Office software, cases to protect our class computers, and printer cables to connect them to a portable printer.

My Students
Urban students traditionally have more academic issues to overcome, and these are no exception. My students are boisterous, curious, excited, and desire a good education but lack many of the things that other schools have.
Studies have shown that all children learn when they have the basic supplies necessary for their education.
We do not have technology in our room for students and want to provide as much as possible for them.
Many of these students are homeless, hungry, unhappy, yet hopeful, and want to learn so they can have a better life. These inner city, African American children are waiting for your help so they can succeed and make a positive impact on tomorrow's world.
My Project
We finally have a couple of laptops that we can use for a math center but we have nothing to keep them safe and protected. We also need to be able to write on the computers so we are in need of Office software that we can install. A couple of mice will help to record data a little easier.
It's hard to take care of special items, such as laptops, when you don't have a way to protect them from breakage and theft.
We found an inexpensive color portable printer but we need the cables to connect each of the laptops and being able to print what we are writing will really help students to present their work.
You can help us reach this goal with your donation. We are very excited at the opportunity to receive these vital materials! Thank you in advance!
