My students come to me sadly far behind in math skills and they need access to online math practice. We have no computers and very limited use of a computer lab which is used primarily for school wide testing year round. Studies show that practice is how students learn the basic math skills they need to survive and thrive in life. Having two computers in the room will allow me to set up a learning center, where two at a time and use them for math enrichment activities, practice fact families, and even write stories using math as a background. Using these computers for math will also give them needed keyboarding skills, develop their ability to work independently, and improve test scores, making all of us happy!
