This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These items are often thought of as luxuries in any classroom. We have lots of games and puzzles, but over the years and after being loved by so many students, the puzzles and games get worn, broken, or parts go missing. It is time to get a new round of fun and interesting games.
When students play learning games, they gain so much more than just a fun time.
They learn how to take turns, how to win with grace, and how to lose with humility. They learn sportsmanship and good people skills. The students also learn how to be responsible with the materials and how to put things back where they belong.
These puzzles and games are carefully curated. I know that they will help my students and stimulate cognition, creativity and joy.
