This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to bring these classic board games into my classroom this year to teach all my students how to play. Many of my students do not have the opportunity to play these games at home, and although these games are fun they also teach a lot of different lessons. The students can learn taking turns, following rules, losing gracefully, and many other game lessons, which can also translate to life lessons.

Bringing these games into our classroom would bring joy along with valuable life lessons.

I would like to bring these games into our classroom, teach small groups how to play, and then let them play and practice amongst themselves. I know my students would be beyond excited to learn all of these games!
