Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I enjoy that my students come to school ready to learn and soak up new experiences. They are special to me because they try very hard when faced with obstacles.
My classroom is a place where students can come together to learn and have fun regardless of their cultural differences or needs.
The materials in this project will support students academically, socially, and emotionally, and build relationships within the community.
I am a firm believer that students who learn about different cultures during their education feel more comfortable and safe with these differences later in life. This allows them to interact in a wider range of social groups and feel more confident in themselves as well as in their interactions with others.
