My Students
Preschool is the most exciting, and rewarding place to spend my day. I am surrounded by fun loving, super excited children between the ages of 3 and 4 years old, who love to explore the world around them. Each day we explore with blocks, do science experiments, paint, get messy, dress up, and go to "Dunkin Donuts", or the "zoo", the "doctor's office", or anywhere else their imaginations take them. One of the favorite centers in our class is our sensory station, where we have sand and water, and different tools for measuring, scooping, excavating, and again, anything else their imaginations can dream up.
Our kids have so many interests, and are so excited to explore in new ways each, and every day.
My Project
My kids will have more opportunities to explore different mediums of art, and lean about process art. Process art allows children to explore textures, and tools to help them create. It will open up their imaginations, as well as explore their senses,through using rubbing plates, discover phenomena, by watching how paint in a spray bottle changes form every time it hits the paper, explore color changes using transparent colored shapes, and paint, and so much more. Imagine seeing all of this the first time, at 3, discoveries, and explorations keep them so eager to learn.
