My Project

Experiencing nature up close is something truly special. It's one thing to read about sea dragons, ants, and Venus fly traps, but seeing them live? That's a whole new level of awe. And let me tell you, when I first stumbled upon a Triop, I was floored—I'd never even heard of them in a school library before! So just imagine the power of that learning experience for students. By bringing these creatures into our library, we're giving every student on my campus the chance to feel that wonder firsthand. And when they see these creatures thriving, it helps them understand why it's so important to take care of our environment.

This is not just about facts and figures; it's about sparking curiosity and showing the magic of our world.

With your help, I hope to acquire habitats for sea dragons, Triops, ants, and Venus fly traps. Our program will kick off with the unveiling of the ant farm and Venus fly traps, featuring engaging activities and trivia. We'll also demonstrate how Venus fly traps feed on ants to teach about life cycles. Each month, we'll introduce a new animal habitat, ensuring ongoing discovery and learning. I'm thrilled about the opportunity to implement this enriching program and inspire our students' curiosity about the natural world. Thank you for your time and consideration!
