Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting these items for a few different reasons. The 2 regular iPads will be for the counseling office sign-in and sign-out for our students. This process is for the safety of our students and it also allows us to track data on how many students are coming into the office and why. If we notice there are trends on why students are coming into the office then we can address those more holistically.

The larger 12.9” iPad Pro and the Apple Magic Keyboard will be another sign-in and out but it will be more mobile for all of the different events the counselors have.

Many different times even though much of our data is digital these big events the sign in for these is on paper and we are counting and trying to keep track of things. By doing this we will once again have all of the data in one place and it allows us to target students who we might need to follow up or just track numbers. The most important reason having this data accurate and readily available is for safety. If something happens and they need a student and we have no idea where they are that’s a huge problem. This way we know when they check in and out and now we can also create and monitor their digital Securely Passes on the iPad Pro as well.
