I teach a first grade inclusive classroom with a high population of students with special needs. We are a high-need Public Charter School that focuses on community based, hands on, and differentiated learning to best reach all of our students diverse needs. My class is set up so that all learning is differentiated to meet all of my students needs (both gifted and students with special needs). I teach through hands on, creative and interactive learning so that all of my students are successful and engaged in learning.
Looking for the bare essentials! We just desire the basic needs for our first graders. We want to keep our books in the best condition we can for our first graders!
Our first graders LOVE to read! We are doing readers workshop this year where all students have books that are differentiated based on their own reading level. I want students to be able to keep books in reading bags to foster independence, promote positive reading, keep books organized and keep them in good condition so they can be used numerous times. These bags would help keep our books looking brand new so we can use them year after year!
You will make it possible for students to have books that are in good condition and ones that will last longer. You are helping the first grade teachers be proactive by keeping our teaching materials in the best condition we can.
