Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a first grade teacher in a high needs school. We are an urban school with great students.
Because of budget cut we are not able to purchase items that will spark the minds of our student. I focus a lot of attention on science in my class. Student enjoys exploring and observing the wonders of nature. I want to give my student every advantage in learning to do this I must look for new resources like the Rainforest Habitat.
This Rainforest habitat is a self contained environment that will allow the student to see how plants grow in the rainforest. First Graders focus in science is living things, how they thrive what they need to survive. This resources will allow them to view a rainforest as it grow. I know that they will have hours of observation and questions that will drive them to want to do research on the rainforest.
Without help from donors like you my students would not have great resources like this one. You make it possible for learning to take place.
