My Project
Welcome to my PreK classroom! My students are 3, 4, and 5-year-olds who attend a Title I public school in Washington, DC. My class is comprised of all special education students.
Acquiring communication skills is a goal all of my students have in common.
One way in which we help children learn to communicate is through the use of communication devices. This project will provide communication devices, including talking photo albums, GoTalk devices, and a portable choice display board for my classroom, which are easy for me to program and tailor to my individual students. From requesting something to eat, to answering a question during story time, these GoTalk devices, talking photo albums, and portable choice display board will enable my students to connect with me and communicate!
