it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They came back from remote learning via Zoom each day ready to learn, LIVE IN PERSON and ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My Project
This drone will give students the ability to pursue a variety of goals. Aviation, photography, digital editing, topography, and community service to name a few. We would like to start a drone club at our school. We will teach students how to use drones legally and to advance their professional careers. Since drones can be expensive, this drone can be a pathway for students to learn hands-on. Through the drone club, I will give them course work to study in class and at home so that they can become legally certified to fly drones recreationally and professionally. This drone is a pathway to train and encourage students vocationally and academically.
