Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items selected have been chosen to help students feel motivated to work hard and have a fun and safe classroom environment. These items will be used for the reward system in class. I have listed rewards, such as fidgets, stickers and erasers that students can cash in their coins for. Some of my larger prizes like growing a terrarium or having a game day will allow students to work towards a bigger academic or behavior goal throughout the school year. My goal for this project is to allow these items to help motivate my students to work hard, practice appropriate behavior skills, not only this year, but for many years to come. Various items are reusable and I hope to have them in my classroom for many years and make the best use out of each one of them.
