My Project
Items for Independence will give students the remaining items needed to support our newest first graders do their best work!
Our students have access to thousands of books online as well as apps that will support their independent reading and math with exciting music that sometimes can be distracting to other students.
Our lowest readers also need to listen to the audio books to hear a model of fluent readers and the headphones would support that work.
Daily, students use whiteboards to practice handwriting and spelling and have to use tissue to clear their boards.Giving the students erasers will be a sustainable more environmental way to work independently.
When writing and creating independently, students love to use bold pens to showcase their work. This project will fund flair pens that students are excited to use. Once their work is published, obtaining laminating pouches through this project will preserve their hard work for the months ahead!
