My Students
My kindergarteners are a group of incredibly diverse, curious, and imaginative kids who deserve an educational experience to match. My students are inner city, high poverty students with ambition. I teach at a Title I school where 100 percent of students receive free breakfast and lunch.These amazing kids love to learn together and are a wonderful picture of what our world can be. Although my kids live in very different households, from motels to apartments, to homes, they come to our classroom every day to a stimulating environment in which they can reach their full potential.
They love to learn and I want to explore the opportunity by having all the necessary materials they need.
My students come from different backgrounds and most of them aren't able to access the internet because of the lack of technology in the homes. It would be amazing of I could get all of my students the same materials so that no child is left behind.
My Project
We were blessed with devices for the classroom this year. So I set up a station for the students to use the devices. We need a charging station for the students to be able to charge their devices at one time. We also need headphones for the station and stands for the students. These items will really help bring the station together and make it comfortable for our students. I can't wait to see the students inside of the tech station. I have so many more plans for the station but this is just a start.
