It was bound to happen, the ravenous readers of AOES need more books! Our diverse, Sea Island community in South Carolina is rapidly growing and our school library is in need of more books/options for our Wise Owl readers. As a fixture on the special area schedule, the library sees nearly 700 students a week and circulates an average of 2,750 books a month.
The AOES library is requesting books that will help replenish our shelves with frequently requested genres, award-winning materials, and high-interest readers.
With the completion of this project, students will be delighted to discover new graphic novel series, replacements for worn-out classics, and new national/state award winners. In order to increase access for all learners, titles in Spanish are being requested for our multi-lingual learners and families.
