This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As technology becomes so prevalent in our schools, help support my students to listen to our online math program, explore early literature, and play earned reward games with comfort. We currently have a class set of un-comfy headphones that the students don't enjoy using, but have to use often to help with focus on independent learning.
Headphones can easily be a headache in any kinder classroom, but with this project funded my kindergarteners and I will have comfy headphones with an easy storage option.
This project also includes lamination pouches to create labels for each students' headphone pouch.
We use our Chromebooks at least 20 minutes daily, and at the start and middle of every quarter we use our Chromebooks and headphones for academic testing and data tracking. With new headphones for each student, I will be able to test more students at one time and help those students to focus on their independent tasks. We also would have enough headphones so all the students can use them when they need to.
