Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students today are surrounded by technology: Ben Q's, Chromebooks, online assignments, and activities that support learning. Many of my students are easily distracted by noises made by other student computers while online even though they are asked to keep their volume low. Some students come to school with earplugs, but those are not effective in canceling the sounds coming from their computers, and not everyone can afford earplugs.

I would like to provide my students with wireless headphones to use during our math lessons and activities.

These would be headphones that everyone has access to and can feel good about using.

I plan to incorporate listening skills activities that will be supported by an online listening program and these headphones will be a great help in getting everyone engaged.

If you see fit to fund this project all of my students will be able to say IT SOUNDS GOOD TO ME.
