My Project
Geometry is the study of shapes, constructions, proofs, and reasoning. Geometry can be fun and exciting if every student gets an opportunity to shine. I want students to use their imaginations to create something new and explore possibilities. First of all, rulers will be used to measure objects and draw diagrams. The poster papers and markers will be used to communicate students' ideas and concepts. The heavy construction paper will be used to create scale models for projects. To create 3D scale model, we need scissors, tapes, and box cutters. Many students have math anxiety and are afraid of making mistakes. In my classroom, mistakes are valued. That's the way to find a new way of thinking. I think teachers can change the perception of math if we make it more fun and creative.
