It Doesn't Take an Einstein to See We Need Albert.io
Help me give my students the ability to practice for the AP test. Albert.io is an interactive study platform that will give my students the ability to practice on interactive multiple choice questions of differing levels.
My students are hardworking, young adults who are willing to take on an academic challenge by pursuing an AP class. My students are overwhelmingly sophomores, meaning that they take a college level course, with college level expectations at the young age of 15 years old.
They work incredibly hard at improving their reading, writing and critical thinking skills.
For many students this is their first AP class or accelerated course. I want students to leave my class with a love of history, but more importantly, the ability to critically analyze sources and make informed decisions. My course stresses critical thinking and writing and while it is challenging for many students, in they end they feel a sense of accomplishment for completing the course and a majority of them will also earn scores high enough to qualify them for college credit on the AP test. These students are driven, innovative and hardworking. They are our future leaders and the future is in good hands.
My Project
Albert.io is an online test prep service that allows me to select multiple questions of differing levels for my students to practice with. The tool allows them to eliminate answers and to get real time feedback on questions that they get wrong.
Students have many places where they can go to get information, but Albert is the one place they can go to apply and practice with that knowledge.
I have been teaching for more than 20 years and I have never seen or experienced a more helpful tool. This tool could be the difference between my students getting college credit on the AP test or not. For my students who struggle the most, this will give them the practice they need to be successful
