My students need Astronomy guides, Moon and Milky Way Galaxy Posters, Sun and Earth Flip Chart, Sun Model along with hands on and interactive tools to learn about space.
The students in my school are eighty to ninety percent low income. Many of the students are on free or reduced price lunch. Most of my students come from homes that do not have access to a computer or the Internet for their school work or homework.
These students deserve the chance to get to use hands-on visual aids and technology as much as possible to enhance their education experience.
Our school does not have the funding to support the tools they need to complete the course requirements or assignments.
My Project
The my school has a new framework have for the Earth & Space standards to the 6th grade! 6th grade teachers have not covered these frameworks in the past and I am not equipped with the resources needed to teach these new standards to my students.

Many 6th grade students are visual learners and need manipulatives to help them see and understand the new concepts.
This project includes posters, models, videos, and other resources that will excite and get my students motivated to learn about what is out there in space.
