It All Starts With the Right Book

Help me give my students access to "Word Family" reading materials that can facilitate opportunities to become confident, successful readers.

My Project

These materials have the opportunity to help me change students' lives. I have several students that have made it to third grade yet still cannot read. I also have students that came from other countries and are just learning the English language. These students are falling behind in all areas of their academics because they cannot read simple directions on their own. I do not want to see these children fall between the cracks again this year.

Students need to feel confident in their abilities in order to have the motivation to move forward.

These "Word Family" reading materials will help to provide hands-on tools that can be used in daily lessons and become the basis for strong reading skills.
