My Project

Middle school students are highly engaged by technology. As school counselors, we are charged with meeting students where they are to provide developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive, and innovative services. An iPad would enable me to perform and achieve in several areas. From enhanced direct student services to securing and storing confidential and secure Communication and Materials.

While the use of technology is critical in schools all across the world, I am always looking for ways to continue the growth and effectiveness of our counseling program.

Equipping the counseling department with an iPad will expand our ability to serve students with modern tools that match their learning preferences and needs. It supports responsive services, facilitates efficient record-keeping, and increases engagement in counseling interventions. The protective case is to ensure it does not get damaged and the Apple Pencil will come in handy for note taking.
