My Project
How would a typical day in my photography classroom be described? Students would say it is exciting! They enter class every day eager to experience each and every assignment. With their materials in hand, they are ready to work!
My students show a love for the arts that is unmatched anywhere in our state.
They are smart, kind, and generous young adults that are on a mission to make this world a beautiful, caring place.
From beginner foundations studies to photography and graphic design to AP portfolios, we are fortunate to offer it all within our Visual Art Department. Due to growing class sizes and more interest in studying photography, my students need new and innovative ways to advance their photographic skills. This additional equipment will allow students to fully understand advanced environmental photography techniques and all of the creative nuances associated with wide-angle photography. These imaginative, talented, and motivated students are excited for the opportunity to explore environmental concerns including climate change, environmental justice, ecological issues, and the changing landscape. This equipment will allow my students to create advanced landscape imagery that critically examines their local environments.
