This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All recent teachers have dealt with the pitfalls of individual student water bottles. Yes, we want our kids to be healthy and hydrated, but at what cost? LOUD, metal bottles falling off desks and making noise interrupting valuable learning time. Students getting up constantly to get their water bottles from a central location during instructional time. Or the WORST: students SPILLING water all over their school issued Chromebooks! I have seen all of these and worst since I started teaching and am over the moon at the solution provided by these water bottle holders! Finally! Students can have their water bottles accessible but without the danger of being spilled, pushed off a desk, being a distraction or having to leave their learning environment in order to get a drink!
