it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager and bright. They ask a lot of questions and are interested in learning about the world around them. However, their eagerness to learn is often stifled by the problems they face in their everyday lives. My students are from a low/socio-economic area, and more often than not, learning takes a backseat to their daily struggles. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment (even if it's online) for my students so that they can strive to learn and be a “normal” student. They can forget their troubles, even if it’s just for a little while, and be a student full of wonder and enthusiasm.
My Project
In this day and age of distance learning, having technological ease is a MUST. It is very difficult to help and teach students through distance learning and I would like to make sure that the tech is NOT the problem that I am facing.
I would like to provide my students with a mouse so that they may have an easier time completing their assignments online.
The mouse will ease the problems they have especially when completing their work when clicking and dragging is essential. Students will also be able to scroll through documents and websites better when doing research projects.
