My Students

Each day in our 2nd grade classroom is unique. Our class is made up of 25 students that learn through different style and at different paces. I am constantly looking for engaging ways to provide the students with differentiated lessons that help them acquire skills for the 21st century.

Our classroom is made up of 25 students from different socioeconomic backgrounds.

The students learning styles and abilities range from below average to above average. We have gifted students as well as students that struggle with academics. It is important to find the resources to provide ample opportunity for our students to interact with 21st century technology.

My Project

The iPod Touches with cases can be used daily as an interactive teaching tool to teach the students in many unique ways. Students will be able to interact with teachers and peers and literally become part of the learning process. Having iPods in the classroom will enable students to create audio and visual products in reading, math and writing. This opportunity will help the students become better prepared in a society that revolves around technology.

Having iPods Touches in my classroom will change the way the children acquire and share their knowledge to the teacher.

The students learning will be enhance through interactive technology and prepare them to function in a technological society. My students need iPod Touches to aid them in both visual and auditory learning.
