My students need more iPads in order to create a technology driven classroom. They also need headphones so students can learn creatively without disturbing those around them.

My Students

My students have special needs that range from intellectual disabilities, speech and language impairments, and autism. The grade levels range from Kindergarten to 3rd grade students.

They are a wonderful group of kids who come to school every day ready to learn.

They have a hard time sitting still due to ADHD, autism, and other developmental delays. Even though this can be difficult, my students do not let their disabilities hold them back from anything. They strive to be their best every day.

My Project

New technology in the classroom will give endless opportunities for learning for all students. I would love for my students to read e-books, use a variety of learning apps, and record videos for projects. They enjoy getting to go online and research things they are curious about. I would love for them to have the technology to create a video or presentation in their Individual Educational Plan meetings for their parents to see. They will discuss their strengths, weaknesses, and goals they want to work on during the next school year. This will be an amazing opportunity for them to experience real-world technology.

I want to provide learning tools to encourage and motivate all of my students through technology that will prepare them for today's world.

Technology is everywhere today. It is very important for my students to be able to work with iPads when they leave school. This will further their knowledge and experiences in life.
