My Project

The use of technology is almost a daily activity in our resource classroom.

Using the technology to help my students reach their goals, inside and out of the classroom, is a necessity.

The classroom technology allows me to monitor their curriculum based programs, as well as provide an easier way for them to complete it. What becomes a problem is the fact that not all students are able to use the Chromebooks without trouble. When something goes awry, students become frustrated by the use of a mouse, or keypad on the chromebooks. The letter keys become stuck when they are attempting to fill in their answers, often causing wrong answers to be submitted, and lowering their scores. By having iPads, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning!

Students will be able to simply focus on the learning program at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
