Our students are enjoying a variety of options each day that we are in session. Our lunch is at the end of the day and most of our students get hungry at 10:00. After recess we are able to enjoy a snack to allow them to stay focused and full during our lessons. \r\n\r\nMy preschool students enjoyed opening the boxes and seeing all the goodies they will be able to have. I was able to have my preschoolers help hand out the snacks because they were each individually wrapped. We mostly have low income families, so it is nice to not have to ask for the parents to send in snacks. I tend to buy the snacks for the week, and your kind donation to the project helped me to save money for when we run out. \r\n\r\nMy next step with keeping my preschoolers minds active, is to reach out to families that would want to help contribute to the classroom. I will be creating a sign-up genius to allow them to choose a week that they would like to send in snacks.
