My students' eyes lit up as we unpacked everything and talked about how we would use it. It immediately sparked curiosity and pride as they realized this project was theirs.\r\n\r\nSince then, we've been using these resources to care for our classroom hens, collect and graph egg production data, and learn about life cycles and sustainability. These activities have helped students take ownership of their learning and connect classroom lessons to real life in meaningful ways.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next steps include sharing our findings with other classes. The kids are calmer and are able to attend to activities with less distraction. The lighting in my space is bright and can lead to students being overstimulated. The calming effect is so beneficial to all the students. Students also love the floor tiles. They can stand or push on them and watch the colors move around without any type of mess. It's a wonderful visual for students who need a break or a distraction when emotions are overwhelming. Thank you so much for your kindness.
