Help me give my students the opportunity to learn functional and academic skills during our occupational therapy sessions by using various learning games and activities to help them improve their fine motor and visual motor skills.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students range from kindergarten to 9th grade. This iPad will be used for my special education students to engage in various learning games, typing activities and writing activities in a fun and engaging manner. The use of an iPad can provide extra fun and motivation when focusing on motor tasks that may be challenging for some of my students. Having a student grip a stylus while playing an iPad game can provide them an opportunity to practice using a writing utensil in a new and engaging way.
During our occupational therapy sessions, my students will receive individual attention and will have a chance to explore and learn the necessary skills to help them grow and thrive within the classroom and at home!
