Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Having an iPad in my classroom would help my students improve their attention, fine motor skills, and many other abilities. My students will use the iPad in small group stations. My students use a variety of apps in both Language Arts and Math. Students also research the iPad. I will use the iPad to integrate objectives, making learning fun. The students love using the technology! I currently have 26 students in my classroom, so I'm asking for another iPad so my students won't have to wait so long to use the technology.

Having readily available iPads in the classroom will allow students to boost their reading and math skills!

Many of my students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and do not have access to reliable technology at home. Providing them with this opportunity in the classroom will boost their eagerness to come to school and learn despite any obstacles they face!
