Help me give my students experience with differing technology in the classroom. Apple is very user friendly, especially to little hands. My goal is to have a classroom of technology creators, not just consumers.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an Apple trained teacher, I have found that iPads and apple devices are useful within the classroom as tools for creating multimedia projects, in addition to teaching students to use tablet and phone type devices in a safe and controlled manner. With this iPad, I plan to check them out to students for daily digital share (public speaking, sharing big items at home, or videos), collaborative activities such as books and videos, as well as creative endeavors such as stop motion videos, shared learning videos in addition to distance learning activities. My ultimate goal is to get iPads, in addition to school devices in the hands of each student in my class, so that they can benefit from a multitude of experiences using devices.
