iPads In Need of Protection

My students need iPad cases to protect and ensure the longevity of our iPads. Our iPads are used every day, not only during our gifted and talented classes, but also our enrichment classes.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Being the Gifted & Talented/Enrichment teacher at our school, I get to work with some pretty amazing kids. My students vary from kindergarten all the way to 5th grade. Many students come from bilingual families or households where English is not the primary language.

Language barriers and lack of resources can't stop these future leaders from continuing to build their legacy.

Day in and day out, they continue to amaze me with their drive and thirst for knowledge. Not only do I get to work with gifted students, I also have the privilege of providing enrichment for those who are high achievers and yearning for a greater challenge.

My Project

iPads are an extremely important part of our gifted and enrichment program that services students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Having ten iPad Mini 4 cases would protect this educational investment that is used on a daily basis.

Each day as students are researching, solving math problems, using Seesaw to document their work, computer science: coding, working in Makerspace apps, and more, I am constantly petrified at the thought of an iPad being accidentally dropped and destroyed.

If we had these ten iPad cases, we could ensure the longevity of the iPads we have and continue teaching our 21st-century learners.
