My Students

My students are part of a new program in Bucks County called Pre-K counts, which gives children in low income families the opportunity to early education. They show an amazing thirst to learn! They love experimenting with new things to see how they work, working in groups to complete projects, and help each other reach goals through out the day.

They thrive on the desire to explore as much as they can through art projects, books, and dramatic play materials.

My students come in to school each day excited to see what new experiences they will have a chance to tackle!

My Project

Bringing iPad's into the classroom will not begin their thoughts on technology development, but it will allow me to integrate many learning objectives into their technology work. Early learners can use applications to learn letter and number tracing and students looking to increase their knowledge can be exposed to matching, math skills, and even sight word recognition.

Not only can students become exposed to technology, but many subject areas from literacy, mathematics, social emotional development and more can be integrated and adapted to each students learning level and style.

We all know how much children love to work with new technology, and these iPads will bring that love to students who normally would not be given that opportunity.
