Help me give my students the option/ability to create digital art in addition to the other mediums used. Many students prefer & are extremely skilled in this medium. Would love to provide them the means to do so.

My Project

iPads can be incredibly versatile tools in the high school art classroom. Here are several ways they can be used:

Digital Art Creation: iPads offer a range of drawing and painting apps like Procreate or Adobe Fresco, which allow students to create digital artwork using various tools and techniques.

They can experiment with different brushes, layers, and effects, giving them a chance to explore digital media.

Portfolio Development: Students can use iPads to document their artwork throughout the semester or school year, creating digital portfolios showcasing their progress and growth over time. This can be especially helpful when applying to art schools or preparing for exhibitions.

Collaborative Projects: iPads enable collaborative work, allowing students to share their artwork digitally, provide feedback to their peers, and even collaborate on group projects using apps like Google Slides or Padlet. This encourages teamwork and communication skills while fostering a sense of community in the classroom.

Digital Photography and Editing: iPads have built-in cameras that students can use to capture reference images, document their surroundings, or photograph their artwork. They can also learn basic photo editing techniques using apps like Adobe Photoshop Express or Snapseed, enhancing their photography skills.

Animation and Multimedia Projects: iPads offer animation apps like FlipaClip or Animation Desk, allowing students to create animated artworks or multimedia presentations incorporating sound, video, and interactivity. This opens up new avenues for creative expression and storytelling.
