iPads for Mental Health and Social-Emotional Support

Help me give my students iPads and protective cases to support social-emotional learning, mental health check-ins, and coping skill development through interactive activities led by the school social worker.

My Project

As the School Social Worker, I work with students who are facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, peer conflict, and emotional dysregulation. Many of these students benefit from targeted social-emotional learning (SEL) supports, interactive coping tools, and safe outlets for expression.

With iPads and protective cases, I’ll be able to provide meaningful, tech-based interventions during individual and group counseling sessions.

These devices will allow students to complete digital check-ins, explore mindfulness and calming apps, participate in SEL activities, and access tools for journaling, emotional regulation, and self-reflection. The cases will ensure that the iPads are protected and long-lasting, even with regular use across different age groups and settings.

These tools will help me meet students where they are—giving them access to interventions that are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and trauma-informed. Whether in crisis moments or during skill-building sessions, these iPads will support student wellness, independence, and growth.
