During the summer of 2018, ME underwent major renovations preparing the building to be a neighborhood K-6 school.
ME was previously a K-2 school, and many students will be returning.
Students will enjoy their new art studio space, and all of the choices they will make in art this year. It is a TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) classroom where students use their interests to help them make choices about what they create.
Welcome home ME Artists!
Students will learn based on their own interests. They will be shown how to use a variety of supplies and explore them further as their interests guide them. Many of these lessons will be available with QR codes using their iPads, so students can access them when needed.
Students will research and plan their own ideas.
They can search out images and ideas with their iPads.
Students will share their artwork with their families and globally. Students will create online portfolios, save works on their Google drive. They can share their artworks with Flipgrid, Twitter, or email using their iPads.
