My Students

My goal in the classroom is to create a supportive, loving, fun, and engaging environment for my students. Kindergarten has changed quite a bit since I stepped into my first classroom 25 years ago! As a teacher, I make every effort to seek out opportunities to engage my students in an ever changing world. The broad demographics of my campus make it even more important for me to provide a broad range of experiences for my students. YOU can help make our classroom a more engaging place!

My Project

Today's technology is always advancing and changing and is a vital part of our daily lives. Nothing could be more true in the classroom, even with students as young as 5! The more opportunities our students have to engage with technology at a young age, the more confident they will be in the future. Many of our educational apps are only supported by Apple devices and our district assessments are administered on Apple devices. The more exposure the students have to iPads on a daily basis, provides them more opportunities to demonstrate success in a variety of settings. This project will provide us with three Apple iPads. Thank you!
